Care:
Prep Nails:
1. Shape your nails.
2. Push back cuticles and remove extra cuticles.
3. File nails and buffer nails (this is important to ensure the gel stays on).
4. Clean nails and ensure your nails are completely dry, clean and oil-free.
5. Just make sure you prep well or it will peel right off.
How to apply:
"Transform your nails into works of art with our step-by-step guide on applying gel builder for a flawless finish:
-
Prep Your Nails: Start by cleaning your nails thoroughly and pushing back your cuticles. Lightly buff the surface of your nails to remove any shine.
-
Apply Base Coat: Brush on a thin layer of gel base coat and cure it under a UV or LED lamp, cure under UV lamp for 2 mins, or LED light for 60s.
-
Build Structure: Using a gel builder, apply a small bead onto the center of your nail near the cuticle area. Gently spread the gel down the nail, creating an even layer to build structure and strength. Be sure to avoid the skin and cuticle area.
-
Shape and Sculpt: With a brush dipped in rubbing alcohol, shape the gel to your desired length and shape. Smooth out any uneven areas and ensure the gel is evenly distributed.
-
Cure Under Lamp: Once you're satisfied with the shape, cure your nails under the UV or LED lamp for the recommended time.
-
Repeat if Necessary: If you desire additional thickness or strength, repeat the process by applying another layer of gel builder and curing it under the lamp.
-
Final Touches: After curing, wipe off any tacky residue with rubbing alcohol and files, buff your nails to smooth out any imperfections.
-
Apply Top Coat: Finish off with a layer of gel top coat for added shine and protection. Cure under the lamp to seal in your beautiful gel builder nails. Voila! Enjoy your salon-quality gel builder nails right at home, and get ready to flaunt your stunning manicure with confidence."
How to remove:
Say goodbye to gel builder nails with our simple removal process:
-
Buff the Surface: Use a fine-grit nail buffer to gently buff the shiny top layer of the gel builder. This step helps break the seal and allows the removal solution to penetrate the gel more effectively.
-
Soak in Acetone: Prepare a bowl or tray filled with acetone. Soak a cotton ball or pad in the acetone and place it directly onto each nail. Secure the cotton with aluminum foil wraps or nail clips to hold it in place.
-
Wait Patiently: Relax and let the acetone work its magic. Allow the nails to soak for 10-15 minutes to soften the gel builder.
-
Remove the Gel: After soaking, gently remove the foil wraps or clips and cotton pads from each nail. Use a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick to gently push off the softened gel builder from the nail surface. Be patient and avoid forcing the gel off to prevent damage to your natural nails.
-
Cleanse and Moisturize: Once all the gel builder is removed, wash your hands with soap and water to cleanse away any remaining acetone residue. Apply a nourishing cuticle oil or hand cream to replenish moisture to your nails and skin.
